March 30, 2017

Cynthia Wolbaum

WOLBAUM- Cynthia Gail was welcomed into Heaven on Thursday, March 30, 2017 in Regina, SK at the age of 52 years. She was born May 18, 1964. Cynthia was predeceased by her beloved father Allan R. Wolbaum, grandparents Joseph and Mary Wolbaum and Peter and Stephanie Kuntz. Cynthia will forever be remembered by her siblings Wanda Steman, Yvonne (Brent) Jones, Alden (Trisha) Wolbaum, Coralie Gyurek and mother Dianne Kuntz; nephews/nieces Jason, Joseph, Daniel, Devon, Alexander, Jaxon, Eryk, Jesse, Blaine, Cassandra, Jessica and Andrew; Aunt Carol (Randy) Patch, Auntie Frances Zilcosky and numerous cousins, extended family and friends. Cynthia was born with Cerebral Palsy and was a long time resident at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. Though her body was disabled, her mind was full of life. She will be sorrowfully missed by all that knew her. She touched many hearts with her love and, of course, her many jokes and antics. She truly was an angel who was sent for all our benefit.  Some of Cindy's passions were socializing with residents, painting, dancing, playing jokes, and staying up all hours on her iPad. She will be remembered for her generosity and compassion for others that were in more need than herself. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's R.C. Church, 2026 Winnipeg St., Regina, SK. Interment to follow immediately after Mass at Riverside Memorial Park in Regina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cindy's memory to Saskatchewan Cerebral Palsy Association. On-line condolences can be made at www.myalternatives.ca or www.legacy.com.
