Owned and operated by the Corporation of Delta, Boundary Bay Cemetery serves the Tsawwassen and Ladner communities. It offers traditional casket burial, in-ground cremation, and columbarium niches. Open to both residents and non-residents, with reduced rates for Delta residents. Grounds are open daily from dawn to dusk.

Which Delta cemeteries accept cremated remains?
The City of Delta runs two cemeteries, Boundary Bay Cemetery in Tsawwassen and North Delta Cemetery, and arranges every interment by appointment through its Cemetery Administrator at City Hall in Ladner. Both have in-ground lots and niche walls for cremated remains, and Boundary Bay has Delta's only scatter garden. Delta sells cemetery spaces only at the time of need, and the resident rate applies when the person who died lived in Delta.
Is there a place in Delta to scatter ashes into the Fraser River?
In July 2026 the Province and the City of Delta announced a dedicated place for families to scatter ashes into the Fraser River, at Fraser Viewpoint on Tilbury Island. Delta is upgrading the park, which already has a reflective garden and seating area, to give safe access to the water's edge.
