A Graveside Service offers a meaningful and intimate way to honour your loved one at their final resting place, without the formality of a church service. Led by a clergy member or celebrant, family and friends are invited to take an active role in the farewell—whether through readings, pallbearing, or personal tributes.
At Alternatives, we thoughtfully manage every detail, from cemetery coordination and ceremony scheduling to special touches such as live music, dove or balloon releases, and cultural or family traditions. For those seeking an environmentally conscious option, our Green Services include biodegradable caskets, and partnerships with Green-certified cemeteries — helping reduce environmental impact while creating a respectful and meaningful experience.
Additional options such as flowers, guest books, visitations, keepsake jewelry, extra death certificates, or a gathering following the interment can be included, allowing you to personalize the service in a way that truly reflects the life, values, and spirit of your loved one.

In Home Arrangements
Our compassionate team will visit you at home (or meet virtually/phone, if you prefer) to guide you through the paperwork and answer any questions.
Transfer & Sheltering
We respectfully transport your loved one from their place of passing to our facility, where every step is managed with the utmost care.
Burial & Return of Certificates
Once burial is complete, we deliver the death certificate(s) directly to your home, or we can arrange for them to be present at your graveside service.
