A thoughtful, affordable, and dignified choice
Funeral Service
A Funeral Service provides a traditional and meaningful way to honour your loved one, with the casket present and the service held at a church or other facility of your choice prior to burial or cremation. We work closely with you and your clergy member or celebrant to arrange a date and time that respects both tradition and the needs of your family.
At Alternatives, we manage every detail with care—from coordinating the service location, arranging viewings, and handling burial or cremation logistics, to placing obituaries in print and online. If you wish to gather afterward, we can reserve reception facilities, arrange catering, and coordinate transportation such as limousines or town cars, allowing you to focus on being present with family and friends.
Personalization remains central throughout the process, with options including visitations, keepsake items, additional death certificates, flowers, guest books, and service cards. Extra fees may apply for cemetery, clergy or celebrant, flowers, guest books, and cards—all of which we organize thoughtfully in close consultation with you and your family.
