The cemetery is notable for its Victorian and Edwardian-era monuments, featuring wrought iron enclosures and intricately carved marble and granite headstones. These memorials reflect the lives of early settlers, including prominent families such as the Mackies, Mavises, and Wests.

Municipal Cemetery
Murrayville Cemetery, located at 21405 44 Avenue in Langley, British Columbia, is a historic burial ground established in 1891 by the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (Cloverdale Lodge No. 15). Originally named the Odd Fellows Cemetery, it was later acquired by the Township of Langley in 1904 and renamed Langley Prairie Cemetery. Over time, it became commonly known as Murrayville Cemetery, reflecting the name of the surrounding community.
The cemetery is the final resting place for many of Langley's early settlers and notable families, including Paul and Lucy Murray, after whom the Murrayville neighborhood is named. Among its distinctive features is a cenotaph erected in 1921 to honor local soldiers who lost their lives in World War I and II. This granite Celtic cross memorial has been restored to preserve its historical significance.
