Joyce Shirley Splett (nee Sleeva)

Joyce Shirley Splett, late of Regina, SK, passed away on Monday April 6, 2015 with her family at her side, at the age of 76 years.  She is predeceased by her husband Sig, father John, brother Glen, mother-in-law Ruth and step- father-in-law Al.  Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend.  Joyce married Sig Splett in 1961 and together they have three children Brent (Cindy), Lori, Jamie (Tricia); four grandchildren Sheena (Dallas), Tyler, Lexi, and Justus; three great-grandchildren Halle, Sophia, and Layla.  She was an athlete, an avid reader, and active in the CWL, Seniors Club, and the church.    She will be forever remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her.  Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 am in St. Peter’s R.C. Church, 100 Argyle Street, Regina, SK.  Cremation.  Private family interment will be held at a later date.  Flowers most gratefully declined.   Friends so wishing may make donations, in Joyce’s memory, to Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road Regina, SK S4R 8P6 or Ovarian Cancer Canada 2014, 205-145 Front St. East, Toronto, Ontario M5A 1E3 www.ovariancanada.org.  The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all the staff at the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice and the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Team for their compassion and kindness shown to Joyce and her family.
