It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Wilbert Ronald Eli Sinclair, beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Wil passed away on Thursday, February 19th, 2015 at the age of 82 years with his family by his side.  Wil was born in Lebret, Saskatchewan in 1932 and was predeceased by his parents Marie and Louis Sinclair along with four sisters and two brothers. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Iris of 53 years, son Bryan (Lyanne) Sinclair, daughters Brenda (Duane) Hachkewich, and Heather (Grady) Sinclair-Birns. Grandchildren Chelsie, Keegan, Chase, Jana, Kiera, Brandon, and Tige along with step-grandchildren Stuart, Aleisha, Jasper, and Gibson.  Sisters-in-law Margaret Matheson, and Jane (Harold) Park as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Wil spent his working career in the Education Field with Indian Affairs.  Wil was involved in the community regarding sports throughout his life in numerous ways such as coaching his son in hockey, being actively involved at the Murray Golf Course and Tartan Curling Club and Curl for Kids.  Wil, also had a great love of music throughout his life and was a past member of the Regina Male Voice Choir and current Director of the Serenader’s singing group and Senior Church Choir at St. Peter’s Parish.  Wil and Iris travelled yearly to  their second home in Nova Scotia, where Wil would spend summer’s golfing and enjoying East Coast family and friends.  Wil was also a ‘Greeter’ at O’Neill High School where his grandchildren attend.  Prayers will be held on Friday, February 27th, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Peter’s R.C. Church, 100 Argyle Street, Regina, SK.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday February 28th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. also in St. Peter’s R.C. Church with Father John Baptist Okai Celebrant.  In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation to KidSport or St. Peter’s Knights of Columbus or a charity of your choice.

Iris & family - So sorry to hear about Wil – my sincerest condolences on his passing. I first met Wil in 1983 on my first day of work at the Dept. of Indian Affairs. We were work colleagues and had golf and curling to chat about. Wil always had a smile and a few moments to chat whenever we met after retirement – usually at a curling rink. Iris, Vince and I feel so blessed that we had such a good visit with you and Will after the Remembrance Day Service in Lebret. We will cherish that visit and all the memories, especially when we lived in Northern Sask. We are so grateful for the friendship and Will's assistance in our careers in Education. Iris and family Please accept my condolences on the loss of Wil. Wil was a fixture at the Tartan where I curled with him and against him. He was always a gentleman whether he won or lost.
