David Muir

It is with great sadness the family of David Muir announces his passing at home on September 10, 2021 at the age of 75.
He was predeceased by his mother Mary Muir. He will be sadly missed by his wife Sally Cross; son Randy (Karina) Muir of Brisbane, Australia; daughter Marnie (Shawn) Loney of Moose Jaw, SK, granddaughters Morgan and Brooklyn; daughter Shelley (Trevor) Green of Lloydminster, AB, granddaughter Taylor and grandson Ryland; his children’s mother Elaine Muir; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Sally and Dave spent many hours golfing at the Royal Regina Golf Club, annual trips to Arizona and spent hours visiting with friends in their backyard. We could not be prouder of the life he led. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren who filled a special place in his heart. He spoiled them with his love and time.
In accordance with David’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A Private Celebration of David’s Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation may be made to your favourite charity.

I joined David's audit group in the late 1970s, a working relationship soon turned into a friendship...a long lasting one. David was a kind and generous man always with a smile and a positive outlook. His passing is a loss to all those who had the good fortune to come to know him over the years.
