Clarence Keith McCutcheon

At the age of 95, Keith unexpectedly passed away peacefully at Regina Pioneer Village, Regina, SK.

Keith was born and raised in north Regina and enjoyed his final days in his beloved north end.

Keith and Georgina spent their retirement living in their waterfront home at Grandview Beach, SK which Keith built with the help of his family after his retirement from the trucking industry. Keith and Georgina were well known in the Grandview community for hosting their famous “waffles on waterfront” breakfasts, happy hours, card games and campfires. Keith could be found buzzing around the beach on his “Big Red” and later his “Waffles on Waterfront” golf carts. Keith and Georgina spent time camping, fishing and travelling. Keith has built many construction projects including a houseboat on Shuswap Lake, B.C.

Keith and Georgina moved back to Regina and spent the past 12 years residing in Benson Manor enjoying new friendships and adventures.

In his professional years, Keith was a truck driver, dispatcher, salesman and manager of several trucking firms and retired from his final position at Crone Bros Trucking in Calgary, AB. He spent many volunteer hours for the Associated Canadian Travelers (A.C.T.) in Calgary.

In his youth Keith was quite an athlete and played lacrosse. Keith holds the honour of being the first goalie for the (at that time) newly branded Regina Pats Hockey team and was honoured recently as one of the oldest surviving team members.

Over the years Keith was blessed to have had many friends, neighbours and acquaintances from all over Canada and the U.S.A.

The family would like to extend our appreciation to the many healthcare workers in Regina and to our fantastic home care system for all their help and support. A special thanks to Dr. Filomeno and his fantastic staff for the years of support for Keith and Georgina.

Keith was predeceased by his wife Georgina; his mother and father Flo and Samuel; his daughter Lezliann (Dave) and her daughter Tara; his brother Gordon; and his sister Roma.

Keith leaves many to mourn including his children Taylor, Paige (Betty), Regan (Chris) and Maryanne; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; Elda and family, Grant (Carol) and family, Paul (Maxine), Davis family, Taylor family and Roy.
