Ethan will be sadly missed by his loving family and his many friends that shared his
interests, most of all his very special friend, Tara Lee.
He graduated from Notre Dame high school in Red Deer. He practiced Shotokan Karate for five years and obtained his black belt. This practice gave him life skills in leadership, respect, motivation, competitiveness and commitment.
He went on to Lethbridge college to study the Criminal Justice Policing program. As a college student, his instructors could all attest to his good character, positive attitude, and class performance. Ethan also had an excellent work ethic which was appreciated by all his employers. Ethan’s values of commitment, respect, honesty and determination, were developed through his life’s experience.
Ethan worked his way through college at Zellers in Red Deer and was currently employed with Border Paving for several years. His employers could always rely on Ethan’s positive attitude and work ethics.
Ethan had a passion for hunting and fishing. He enjoyed being in Gods great outdoors and loved animals. He took pictures of everything he caught or hunted. To someone who does not hunt or fish, the pictures all looked the same, but to Ethan, they were as unique as he was. He also enjoyed exotic pets like snakes and reptiles so much so that he had their images tattooed on his body. Ethan was very compassionate, kind, considerate, thoughtful, generous, and a loving young man.
I would like to end with some verses from Ecclesiastes:
Ecclesiastes 3King James Version (KJV)
3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that
which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
Ethan’s season on this earth was short, but he still served a purpose for God.
Let us celebrate Ethan’s life and try to discover God’s purpose
