July 9, 2020

Earla Kuntz

Earla Mae Kuntz (nee Holliday) passed away peacefully on July 9, 2020 at the age of 77 years, with her daughters by her side.

Earla was predeceased by son Kevin, grandson David Haider, father Harvey Holliday, mother Dorothy Holliday, and sister Bev Cox.

Earla is survived by her daughters Gail (Murry) Orthner and grandchildren Morgan and Kyle, and Laura (Conan) Haider and grandchildren Nolan, Kendra and Jocelyn; brother Doug Holliday (Julie); numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and former husband Ben Kuntz.

Earla was born in Saskatoon, SK and raised in Melville, SK. As a youngster she was very active in sports and had a lifelong love for golf.

Earla enjoyed a long career with the provincial government, retiring after 30 years of service.

Earla loved being outdoors and spent her summers working in her yard, which she took great pride in.

Earla loved to dance and her love of country music made her a regular at Craven Jamboree.

Her Family would like to give a special thank you to friends Val and Heather for their tremendous support.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Regina Food Bank.

Due to recent restrictions, a private family graveside service will be held.

Special thanks to family friend Kevin Almassy of Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Funeral Services.

I have many nice memories of Earla. I remember her being a lot of fun to talk with when I was a young kid hanging out at your house. I was also able to have some nice conversations with her when she was living in her apartment. She will be greatly missed. ~ Connie and Lyle Brandt
