Marilyn Margaret Karst

Marilyn Karst, late of White City, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on February 28th, 2025, at the age of 69 after a long battle with illness. Left behind to mourn her passing is Marilyn's husband of 45 years, Jim Karst, and daughters Brittany, Kara (Mark), Abbygail, and Miyseou. Also left to mourn her passing are Marilyn's brothers Doug Johnson, Brad (Debbie) Johnson, and sister, Debbie (Randy) Snaith. Marilyn was predeceased by her daughter, Risa, and her parents, Robert and Kathleen Johnson.
A private family internment will take place at a later date with a Celebration of Life to follow.
Our family wishes to thank the nursing staff on Unit 4A and 4C at the Pasqua Hospital for the amazing care and compassion you showed Marilyn and our family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation and the Kidney Foundation of Canada. I was so saddened to hear about Aunt Marilyn’s passing, but I’m thankful she was surrounded by loved ones and I was happy to see her together with all of her siblings one last time recently. I have very fond memories from my childhood of Aunt Marilyn as such a vibrant and joyous person who I always looked forward to seeing when we were visiting, and her love of children was always so evident.
