Messages of Condolence
We are so sorry to hear of Donn's passing. He was always there with a smile and a laugh and glad to open the door for our mother in the same building. He was a true gentleman. He has been and will be missed. Our condolences to the whole family ~ The Folnovic Family
So sorry to see that my old friend " double N Donn " has passed. Donn and i shared many thoughts over a cup of coffee. Later when my cousin moved into the apt. bldg. where Donn lived, i looked forward to bumping into him and enjoying a chat. Condolences to the family. ~ Garry Oliver
Donn was a kind, polite and respectful man with an incredible sense of humour. He was always eager to help out - to change a lightbulb, wash windows, carry groceries, hold the door or shovel some snow. We would see Donn playing pool daily ! I think he was a “ pool shark”. I wish I would have taken some lessons ! Donn also loved riding his bike ! Donn will be missed ! “Quality of life is better than Quantity “ Peace be with you. ~ Bonny Marshall
A good man. ~ Tim Nicholl
Condolences to his lovely family. We have many good memories at the lake with all the kids. Rest In Peace Donn. ~ Mel and Mary Glenister
I was saddened to read of Donn's passing. I met him in 1986 and had lost touch in the past several years but will never forget his friendship and concern for me that he always extended. I often ran into him riding his bike and we would do a catch up of each others life at that time. He and Linda attended my wedding ceremony and I know how hard losing her was on him. I wish all of you peace at this time. He always shared how proud he was of his kids. I'm sorry for your loss. Respectfully Tracy ~ Tracy Kydd
I didn't know Donn well. I just knew him as my neighbour from across the hall, but he was one of my favourite people to see when at the apartment. He made living there a little more bright, with his infectious smile, eagerness to chat, and I'll miss seeing him. My condolences to the family. ~ Samanda Brace
It has been 5 months now since Donn passed, and still he is greatly missed here at the 'pool shark' table. His eager smile and witty chats and stories, always ready for a game challenge or a bike ride. Good memories. Fortunate to have known you Donn, and proud to call you my friend. RIP ! ~ Brian Rix
