HERAUF, Dennis Mikel (Myk) Jr.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Mikel (Myk) Herauf Jr. on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Myk was born October 22, 1986 in Regina and spent his early years in Balgonie where he attended Balgonie Elementary School. He moved to Regina in June of 1995 with his Mom and sisters and attended McLurg and Dr Hanna Elementary Schools. Myk went to high school at Thom Collegiate, and finished at Robert Usher Collegiate.

 Myk spent his adult years traveling throughout Canada to work, and returned to Saskatchewan when the pandemic hit. He knew Saskatchewan roads better than anyone, having worked province wide for several years.

 Myk was extraordinarily talented working with his hands. He could fix or build anything! He took enormous pride in the many handcrafted furniture pieces he made for his family and for his Mom's bird friends.

 Myk was larger than life. He always had a smile and would help anybody, anytime. Whether it was to put air in your tire, fix your brakes, or assemble your new desk on his lunch hour. He loved sports, camping, fishing, dogs and he especially adored his family!

 Myk is predeceased by his Grandmother Phyllis and Grandfather Leo, Uncles Ronnie and Kenny Herauf; Grandmother Beth, Grandfather Arnie and Uncle Derek Stubel; and his two good friends Mike Johnson and Mike McPhee.

 Left to mourn are his Dad (Papa) Dennis Herauf; Momma Darla Stubel; Sisters Krysta Herauf (Steve Skoretz) and their children Ashley, Hutton and Seth; Desiree Stubel and sons Lenox and Hudson; Shawna Herauf (Jason Anton); Trisha (Ryan) Unique and son Ryder; and Reesha (Evan) Kyrylchuk and daughters Makenna and Hadley. Myk will also be sadly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; his childhood BFF Jill Weinbender, and friend Sara Gosselin.
