Sheldon was a caregiver, a husband, a father, a companion and a friend to so many. He knew how to make a person feel special and loved, and that in return made him feel special and loved. He was an unique and pure soul and incredibly selfless. Laughter and joy surrounds you when you are near him.

Sheldon was an avid music lover, a hard worker and loved adventure. In his many careers through life he has gained the love of many friends whom he considered family. Sheldon would escape through music and sport. He loved camping in the summers with his children when they were young and golfing or fishing with friends, and hitting up concerts and festivals.

Sheldon was very proud of his family and his children. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

The family will be having a celebration of life and will advise once a date has been determined.

Until We Meet Again

We think about you always,

We talk about you still,

you have never been forgotten,

And you never will.

We hold you close within our hearts

And there you will remain,

To walk and guise us though our lives

Until we meet again

Sheldon was my 1st boyfriend in grade 6. He and Mickey had planned a dance for myself and Shaun R to the song "Three times a lady". Oddly, I heard that song today and thought of him and in looking him up, found his obituary. Life takes you by surprise and you just never know. Thx for the cherished memory Shel.... XOXO

Very sorry to hear of Sheldon’s passing. I worked with Sheldon for many years. He always had a happy demeanor and jokey personality. Will miss him dearly. Condolences to the entire family.

I'm sorry to hear that Sheldon has passed . I went to high school with Sheldon . I'll always remember his wicked sense of humor .. & his perfect hair . RIP buddy

I’m so sorry to hear of Sheldon’s passing. I went to elementary and high school with him. He was very witty, smart and kind. It’s so hard when a childhood friend passes, as it floods our own memories of days that seem not that long ago, but strangely far away at the same time. May his loved ones hold their memories close as they grieve.

My sincerest condolences to Sheldon’s family. I went to school with Sheldon and he was always one of my best classmates. He was such a nice guy, funny, kind, always smiling and liked to joke around. Sheldon, you will be missed. Xoxo Shawna

I am Casey Leib's mother and we have known him since they were children. He always had a smile and was very special. As of late Sheldon was my Facebook friend. He will be missed. Our sincere sympathy to the Fladeland family. Dleib@accesscomm.ca
