Marie Gegner (nee LaMontagne)

It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Marie Gegner announce her peaceful passing on May 1, 2022 at the age of 75 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Theresa and Don LaMontagne, her sister Ann and brothers Ernie and Don. Marie is survived by her husband of 56 years Larry Gegner and her two sons Jeffrey (Paula) Carter and Jay, and Trent (Twyla) Addison and Avery.
She is also survived by her sisters Eve, Shirley and Annette (Chris) along with three brothers Garry (Sharon), Rick (Maxine) and Ray (Debbie), along with a number of nieces and nephews.
Marie was born in Allan, SK on August 28, 1946 and was raised in Nokomis, SK prior to moving to Regina. Her greatest joy in life was her beautiful grandchildren and family, as well as spending time and always caring and concerned about those she loved. She cherished her relationships with family and friends, enjoying long conversations with her sisters, brothers, and friends.
The family wishes to thank Wascana Grace Hospice and Chaplain Cliff Geiger for their loving care and kindness during this difficult time.
A private family gathering to celebrate Marie’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Lung Association.
