Cody Creighton Douglas Hull, B.Sc.

July 21st, 2020

With humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing of our beloved son Cody Creighton Douglas Hull from a sudden tragic accident on July 21, 2020 at the age of 28 years. He is survived by his parents Alan and K.C. Hull, brother to Cassy, grandson to Maggie Montgomery, Larry and Rose Creighton; he was loved by his Aunts, Uncles, and many cousins; Godfather to Jolene Sakowich.

He will be remembered for his unique and genuine charm. He was caring and compassionate, always up for an adventure. He had the brightest smile and could make everyone laugh. He had a positive impact on our lives and so many others. As he was always giving to others during his life, as in death his organs were donated. He made a point of being involved in the communities he lived in. An Asphalt Cowboy, firefighter, town councilman, Zamboni driver, Lions Club Member and ended as a CN Train Conductor. His determination lead him to take on many different roles. He was clever and loved to learn something new. He loved the entire outdoors from rock climbing to horseback riding, hunting, skiing, fishing, skateboarding, and hockey. He loved to restore all his old trucks especially “Sally”. He never turned down the opportunity to go to a branding. He enjoyed growing up in Lloydminster and his years at the University of Saskatchewan graduating with honors and a degree of B.Sc. in Agriculture. He became an Agronomist living in Tagaske and Craik. As parents we were extremely proud of all his accomplishments. It was impossible to stay in a bad mood with Cody around. He always had time for a conversation, a listening ear, a ride in his truck, dance moves and a Bud light.

Memorial Service will be on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in Regina Victory Church, 320 Maxwell Crescent, Regina, SK. If you wish to attend the service you must RSVP the family at korahull@gmail.com. Mask are mandatory. A livestream link to the funeral service will be available at: www.reginavictory.com. Dear Al, K.C. and Cassy, We are so very sorry for your loss, and our hearts hurt for you. Your tribute to Cody is beautiful and you can be very proud of the fine young man he became. We will continue to keep you in our prayers.

KC, Al and Cassy: Cody will be loved and cherished by his family and friends forever. As my 1st born grandchild, he always had a special place in my heart. I cheered his regular milestones and celebrated his bigger accomplishments. I was pleased that he liked being an agronomist in Tagaske and Craik and that he was enjoying the challenge of being a conductor with CN Rail. However I was most proud of the fine man he had become. He was supportive, kind ,smart and funny. A truly good guy. I was so blessed to have Cody for a grandson. Rest in peace Code Man

Sending our love and condolences to you Al, KC, and Cassie.

Our condolences Al, K.C. and Cassy. We are thinking of you all during this time. We all really enjoyed Cody- he was a super person and a ton of fun to have around. My mind keeps going back to the days of “kick the can” in the cul de sac at the lake. Love you all!❤️

K.C., Al & Cassie, We are all so extremely sorry to hear about Cody. No parents or sibling should ever have to say goodbye to their child/brother, so please accept our deepest condolences. There are no words to say to help with the pain but if there is ever anything I can do for any of you please don't hesitate to ask. I remember the first time I met Cody. We had just moved into the culdesac and Cody came over & rang my bell. He came over to say he saw we had a kid his age & if he could meet him and welcome him. That started many street hockey games! We hope at this time you all find the strength to get through this. You are all in our prayers! Sincerely, Deb, Rob, Karri & Cody Makarow
