John Warmerdam
Hilversum, Netherlands
1946, 12th of May - 2022, 9th of October
John Passed away from pancreatic cancer peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family.
John managed his illness with strength and grace. His wish was to spend time with his loved ones as long as possible.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Isabella; son, Niko and spouse, Sylvia Warmerdam; daughter, Mirjam and husband, Kevin Richardson; as well his grandchildren, Jessica Warmerdam, Austin Warmerdam, Danneka Warmerdam, Niko Boshier & Tori, Sebastiaan Boshier & Kalli, Caleb Boshier, Kirsten Boshier, Taylor Richardson, Justin Richardson and Macaley Richardson. His companions Smokey the cat and Kaya the dog will miss him dearly. He will further be missed by extended family and friends.
John’s favourite past times were fishing, hunting and enjoying time with family and friends. According to his grandchildren, John always had something humorous to say. Before coming to Canada, John had gone to Germany and England to further his education in the equestrian field. John then returned to the family stables where he was needed. Eventually John and his family immigrated to Canada and despite his love for horses he took a job in construction to support his family, a decision admired by his family.
I would like to thank all of the wonderful care workers for all their love and care for John. Special thanks to Greta.
John’s cremation will be held within immediate family.
