ANDERSON, Alice

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Pearl Anderson, who left us peacefully on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre.

She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Alice grew up on a farm near Rosetown, Sask. She met her husband, Johnny Anderson while working as a clerk in Calgary. They moved to Johnny’s hometown of Stavely, Alberta where they operated a mixed farming business and antique/second hand store. They raised four children and were very active in the community.

Alice led a long life of high values, strong beliefs, and always put her family first. She always had a big smile. She was calm, kind, and hilarious without even trying. Aside from volunteering in her faith, she enjoyed spending time with family, being in the outdoors, gardening and travelling. 

Alice is lovingly remembered by her four children and their families, Ramona (Jim) Whittingham, Corinne Anderson, Peggy (Russell) Jobst, Michael (Raylene) Anderson; Grandchildren, Jaron (Jordan) Whittingham, Kayla (Kyle) Baxter, Kyle (Amanda) Anderson, Karissa (Ryan) Anderson; Great-grandchildren, Joni & Joyce Whittingham, James Baxter and a new baby Baxter on the way.

She was predeceased by her Husband, Johnny Anderson; Parents, Mike & Helen Malkovicz; Brother, Clifford Malkovicz.

The family of Alice would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre for their compassion, kindness, and dedication to their work.
