Jason Neis passed away suddenly on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 21 years.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Todd and Sherry; brother, Andrew (Jennike); grandparents, Larry Gorrill and John Neis (Joyce Christmas); nieces and nephews, Hudson Robinson, Brinley and Sawyer Neis; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Jason was predeceased by his grandparents, Kathy Gorrill and Joyce Neis.
He dedicated his life to animals, working at Noah’s Ark Sanctuary and spent time with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Jason’s memory may be made to Noah’s Ark Sanctuary or to Treasures from Trooper Foundation in Crossfield.

I only met Jason a handful of times. His smile was contagious and his generosty - enormous. Beautiful soul.
Jason, it absolutely breaks my heart that you’re gone. I’m going to miss our drives and all of the times you volunteered at the shelter. Thank you for being you! I would also like to share my love and prayers with the Neis family. Your son was an incredible young man and I know it won’t change the pain you’re feeling but he’s always with you. Well my friend, I am so thankful for that last hug in my back alley. You know they say only the good die young, and the 26th of November 2021, has proved this to be true. You will ALWAYS be in my heart and my thoughts, Jaxx and Baby Bud always luved seeing you. I always appreciated the cat food you left for the ferals, I feed under my motorhome. I was so sorry to hear that Jason had passed away. He would come and visit me everyday at the school office. He always had wonderful stories and a smile on his face. My thoughts are with you. Jason had a special place in my heart!
