Loretta Veronica Stobbe

October 19th, 2017

Our lovely sister, Loretta Veronica Stobbe (nee Chamaschuk) passed away peacefully on October 19, 2017 into the arms of our Saviour surrounded by her loving husband and family in Abbotsford, BC. Lorette fought her cancer diagnosis valiantly and courageously however succumbed to it in her 55th year. Her Christian faith carried her to the arms of her Lord in the Kingdom of Heaven. She is survived by her adoring and devoted husband Paul Stobbe, her three sisters Val (Russ), Delores (Rob), Marilyn (Eric) and one brother Laurie (Tracey) as well as three sisters-in-law Linda (Ed), Heather and Arlene including numerous nieces and nephews and a few great nieces and nephews.

Lorette was born in Smoky Lake, Alberta and moved to British Columbia when she was 1-1/2 years old. She enjoyed reading very much, sketching, watching cooking and renovation shows. Her greatest joy was being Auntie to her nieces and nephews while they were growing up. Lorette married Paul on May 20, 2006 and enjoyed a wonderful marriage with him full of love, laughter & joy. They loved going to the beach, be it Sydney or Parksville or annual vacations to the Okanagan. She was preceded in death by her parents Steve & Nellie Chamaschuk and brother Clayton Chamaschuk.

A viewing will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services located at 3070-275A St in Aldergrove, BC followed by a Celebration of Life at Christian Life Assembly at 2:00 pm located at 21277-56 Ave., Langley, BC followed by fellowship and refreshments. You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence on the family for the family.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on the day – and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8

Messages:

Dear Family, Jim and I are so very sorry to hear about your loss. How wonderful though to read that Loretta is safe with our Saviour...the promise we have in God's Word..."absent from the body present with the Lord." One day there will be a reunion where all tears will be wiped away. We still remember when Mary Chamaschuk passed away, Laurie came to represent your family at her funeral and it meant a great deal to us. Had we known in time Jim and I would have been honored to have attended the Celebration of Life for Lorreta. Once again our sincere condolences to all who knew and loved her...Jim and Angie
