Anton Robert Scholz

February 14th, 2023

Tony was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on November 9, 1971.  As a baby he lived with his mom and Dad in Graduate Students Quarters at Dalhousie University until spring of 1972.
Tony moved to Shediac, New Brunswick and Moncton three years later,
where his brothers Christopher and Cary were born.
Living In Moncton's Centennial Parkway he had a ball playing with his friends and brothers on his tricycle and catching tadpoles with Shalla, his Irish setter, all around the neighbourhood.
In the Winter, he made Snow Forts and had many snowball fights.
In one of Moncton's famous Winters, there was so much snow we had to put him out from the second story window to play.  (So many snow days)
In November 1989, we drove across Canada in an extended Ford Van to end up briefly in White Rock then at 10A Avenue in Tsawwassen, B.C. His Elementary school was Boundary Bay just (across the street, now condos) where he played T-Ball, for Doc's Devil's.
Tony Graduated from South Delta Secondary on June 1989. As a teen he worked at Mike's Steak House and White Spot. Moved downtown Vancouver to bike courier.  His first real job was with Dye & Durham, for several years, where he met Anoop and had his beloved daughter Kishal.
After much thought Tony decided to parent his daughter for her early years from home. He was a super Dad. He started Pro-line Real Estate with his brother Christopher, so that he could work from home.
He loved making electronic music and demo tapes with different artists from his studio in Vancouver.
After his brother's move to Mexico, Tony continued to run the company.
In recent years he lived with his caring girlfriend Amanda. After a prolonged illness with Brain Seizures and Damage, it led to his ultimate admission to Vancouver General Intensive Care.
He passed on February 14th, 2023, still able to donate organs to B C Transplant.
Survived by the light of his life, daughter Kishal, his parents Heinz and Renata, his brother Christopher (Sofia), nephew Carlos, God-mother Catharina and cousins and friends. Predeceased by his younger brother Cary.

I didn’t know that the Christmas Eve gathering would be the last time I would see Tony. Through the years, He was always kind and considerate to me, helping me with the grief I had to endure with the loss of my brother Nigel. This woman who was known to be a Motor Mouth is SPEECHLESS!! In your honor, I will only think of ALL the good Tony was for you ,& ALL the others who have loved on him. Why not even a month ago, I had a flashback of the house on the beach you had. Tony, Chris,& Cary were ALWAYS on the beach doing back flips and tricks. There wish was to join the circus! (Not running away, just join! ;) He was a guy who was Always to my rescue when I needed it. He was that guy that didn't need to be told to help, he just did it & with a Smile to boot!! I will miss my Cousin Dearly. Please take CARE of each other at this terrible time. ALL my Love & Prayers are with You! ❤️

With so much respect I am so very sorry for your loss. I did not know Tony well but we all went to Boundary Bay. My brother Terry was great friends with Chris and we just lived about 500 meters away from each other. These were great years for school, running around the field and being kids. I am truly very sorry for your loss...again. I remember Cary. Another beautiful boy. My love goes out to you all. Please let me know if you need anything. Chris knows how to find me. Peaceful blesses to you all from all of us. Mom, dad, Terry and myself.

Dear Dr. & Mrs Scholz & Chris, My heart ❤️ goes out to you all on the passing of your son & brother. I have so many fond memories with Tony skiing at Mount Baker & driving around in his Land Rover.
