Alaine Bastow

Alaine Bastow died peacefully August 5, 2023. She is survived by her husband Victor and her two children Karen and Gregory, her grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Alaine was a registered nurse, a Mahjong player and a member of the Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary, a charity.
A memorial will be held at 130 PM on September 9, 2023, at St Marks Anglican church in South Surrey B.C. Please RSVP to karenalainebastow@gmail.com

Victor, My condolences to you and your family on Alaine’s passing. You may not remember me, we only met once briefly. I’m your cousin Ruth’s son and the eldest of your uncle Hugh’s grandchildren, though at age 77 I don’t feel like a grandchild.
