Gordon Harry Bergen

Gordon was born in 1921 in Herbert, Sask., and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 26, 2013 in his home in Surrey. Gordon is predeceased by his wife Ruby and is survived by his daughter Terri-Anne, son Cal (Mary) and grandson Russell. He is predeceased by his parents Henry and Susie whom he loved and respected always, and his brothers Len, Vic, Dave and Vern.  He is survived by his brother Cliff and sisters Arlene, Nell, Marjorie and Jo.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the Oasis auditorium in Elim Village in Surrey ( 9008 - 158 St. - enter at 160 St. & 90 Ave.).

Gordon's heart was on serving his Lord and he would be pleased if, in lieu of flowers, donations were made to Living Truth Ministries, NightShift Ministries or to the Elim Foundation. He was also very supportive of Muscular Dystrophy Canada where he was a willing volunteer for many years
