Carl Martin Berg

September 28th, 2011

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of a beloved Son, Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and cherished friend. Carl is survived by his loving wife Margaret and son Joseph Carl. As a self-employed Jack-of-All-Trades Carl's work ethic was unmatched. He was extensively involved with Hastings Park and his only regret would have been missing the last 2 race days. Carl was a lover of all animals but had a special connection to horses. He will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Carl's life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday October 8, 2011 at the Royal Canadian Legion Br# 265 at 26607 Fraser Hwy. Aldergrove, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carl's memory may be made to the Parkinsons Association or to a charity of your choice.

Dear Margaret, Janice C. from BDO told me the news and I am so sorry to hear of Carl's passing. You and your son Joseph are in my prayers. Blessings to you and your family. Karen

I am so sorry to hear of Carls passing. Having talked to him awhile ago his enthusiam for life was still very evident. His love of horses, and the pride in his son shone everywhere. All of us that " lived a life with Carl in it" will miss him greatly.

My sister-in-law Barbara & I knew Carl when he came into Build n Save for his customers for J.O.A.T. He was a great guy and we were sad to hear of his passing. He did have a love of horses as we could not seem to keep enough water bowls in stock for his jobs. We hope that you will know that we loved him coming to the store. Shannon & Barbara
