Kathy-Anne Richards

March 23rd, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Kathy-Anne Richard’s announces her passing on March 23, 2024 at the age of 60 years. She was predeceased by her parents Lorne and Jacqueline Richards.

Kathy leaves to cherish her memory her brothers; Boyd (Tracey) Richard’s, Darcy (Pam) Richards, Russ (Cathy) Richards; sister, Robin (Del) Urzada, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially her good friend Clare. Kathy had a generous, kind heart and was very passionate about her family. She dearly loved and was very proud of her many nieces and nephews. She had an incredible memory and loved to reminisce and share stories from the past, particularly the funny ones… she had a great sense of humour! Kathy thoroughly enjoyed cooking, being in nature and adored animals big and small, especially her little miniature yorkie “Lily”. She also had a passion for music, concerts, old movie classics and was always up on the latest celebrity news.

‘You're beautiful, you're endless, Now stretch your wings and fly, You're loved by so many, It will never be goodbye. Close your pretty eyes, No more tears, just go and rest, Let your soul lie peacefully, We know you did your best.’

There will be a private Celebration of Life at a later date.

Our family would especially like to thank Regina EMS Sarah Erickson and the ER team at the general hospital for their exceptionally compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Regina Humane society in Kathy's honour.
