October 3, 2024

Scott Krienke

Scott Edward Krienke was born in 1955 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He grew up in Saskatoon where he married Florence Wiebe in 1981. Scott is predeceased by his father Vincent, and nephew Ried Lukey.

Left behind are Scott's mother Ruby, his wife Florence, daughter Angela (Kurt), grandson Eethan, his son Jason (Rhonda), and his other grandsons, Vincent and Jaxon; Sister Heather; Brothers Martin (Charlotte), Kim (Marcella), Kelly (Bonnie), and many nephews and nieces that he loved to host at the family home.

Scott attended Holy Cross High School while working at Smitty's. Soon after, he became Catering Manager of Saskatoon's Besborough Hotel. His next chapter and title was first as General Manager of the Assiniboia Club in Regina and then he carried out the same role for the Saskatoon Club. Scott eventually took his talents and experience as a manager and, for 26 years, poured his heart and soul into Eddie's Place Restaurant & Sports Bar in LaRonge. Scott sold Eddie's in 2016 and went into his much deserved retirement! Scott also loved movies, cooking, fishing and golfing.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott's honour can be made to 889 Osprey Air Cadets (Box 722, LaRonge, Sk. S0J 1L0)
