Ronald James Leibel

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald James Leibel, on September 7, 2023, at the age of 79.

Ron was predeceased by his parents, Max and Lucy (Diewold); his brother Gary and his sister Mary Jane and brother-in-law Mike Leibel. He will be lovingly missed by his wife Annette. Remembered by his children: Kevin, Shannon (Dave), Angie (Ross), Mathew, and Brett (Sarah); grandchildren: Carson, Liam, Poet, Emmerson, London and Max. He will also be missed by his siblings: June (Duane), Susan, Terry, Ellen, Barbara (Rick), Ken (Danica), Dale (Debbie), Pat (Kelly); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Ron grew up on the family farm North of Balgonie. Growing up, Ron's passion was for trucking wherein he taught and drove trucks, working at Sask Can Pulse until his retirement. Ron loved telling jokes to anyone that would listen. He loved cooking, which included soups, cabbage rolls and homemade sausages. He was always eager to lend a helping hand when needed, especially on the farm.

There will be a private Graveside service for family and close friends at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations in Ron's memory can be made to the St. Joseph's Cemetery Fund, Box 197, Balgonie, SK. S0G 0E0

I always remember Ron helping Dale out on the farm and with the trucks. I have many fond memories of him and his unforgettable humour! Love goes out to the whole Leibel clan and to “ our daddy Dale “

My condolences to Annette , and all of Ron's family . Ron had a great personality , I remember doing his hair, never a dull moment ,you always knew he was in the salon, due to the jokes and laughter we had, which lit up the room. RIP Ron.
