It is with a broken heart that I, Jae Sherris, announce the untimely passing of my beloved son Josh at the age of 45. He is survived by his loving mother Jae Sherris; his sisters Chelsea (Drew) Duchscher, Kirsten Kernechuk and their mother Penny Heal; his niece Jane Duchscher that he adored so much; and The love of his life Sarah Dobson. He is also survived by his Uncle and Aunts Grant (Elaine) Hunchuk, Katherine Hunchuk and Jane Willows. Josh is survived by many cousins including Peter and Matthew Maier who were more like brothers to him.
Josh was predeceased by his father Alan Kernechuk; Grandparents John and Marjorie Hunchuk and George and Pauline Kernechuk; Uncle Murray Hunchuk, Aunt Marjorie (Bill) Massey; and cousin/brother Adam Maier.
Josh had a huge heart with family and friends the most important people in his life.
He will be greatly missed by his little buddy Osiris. And yes, Stevie WAS his cat!
As per Joshua’s request cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held at this time.
