Leslie Cecil Moore

September 18th, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie Moore on September 18, 2022 at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, SK with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Hilda and sister Grace. Les’s memory will forever be cherished by his family: Pat, his loving wife of 67 years; his sisters Helen (Michael) Bloos and Marylou (Harvey) Anderson; his four sons Bruce (Frankie), Greg, Monty (Gail) and Dale; grandchildren Brett (Kelsey), Kyle, Michele and Amanda; and great-granddaughter Lakelynn.

Les was born in Redvers, SK on January 24, 1933. He sang in the church choir and had an orchestra in which he played at many dances within the area. He moved to Regina in 1953 and worked as a salesman for Marshall Wells and Intercity Energy. Les and his family moved to Saskatoon, SK where he managed Centennial Plumbing and Heating. In 1978, Les set up and co-owned U-Do-It Plumbing and Heating in Regina for 20 years. They permanently moved out to Clearview Beach, SK where Les appreciated the nature. Les and Pat joined the Queen City Good Sam’s R.V. Chapter and enjoyed camping, mini tours and Wednesday coffee. After retirement, he spent countless hours in his workshop carving birds which he received many ribbons for at the carving shows.

In memory of Leslie, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 2550 - 12 Ave, Regina, SK S4P 3X1. A family Graveside Service will be held at a later date.

“Please don’t mourn for me. I’ve lived a wonderful life and couldn’t ask for more. Thank you all for your friendship and love.”
