Leo Joseph DeDecker passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 9, 2021 at the age of 81 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Evo and Mary (Jurzyniec) DeDecker, his brother Edwin and his sister Yvette. Leo will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Adeline and their children Kelly (Bev) and their children Travis (Martha) and Kyle (Shelby), Lana (Kirk) Nagy and their children Amanda (Devin) Mitchener and Jason; his great-grandson Maverick Mitchener; his sister Phyllis (Dan) Gerein; brother-in-law Ray Vertefeuille; sister-in-law Diane (Terry) Bodnaruk; brother-in-law Rick Fisher; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Ave. E., Regina, SK (if attending please meet at cemetery gate at 9:45 a.m.). In lieu of flowers, donations in Leo’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Dear Adeline and family, i am very sad to hear of Leo passing. I only met him a few times when visiting Canada and when you traveled Europe and made a stop in Belgium. I Remember Leo as a joyfull person and a family man. A good man. Also my father Henny has been overwhelmed by the news. He was very fond of Leo and appreciated his friendship.
