Byron Soley passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the age of 82 years. Byron is lovingly remembered by his wife Esther of 59 years. 3 children, son; Doug ( Wendy), 2 daughters; Sharon (Ed), Norma (Larry), 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and one on the way, as well as, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Poplar Ridge Community Centre on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services of Red Deer.

Dear Esther, Doug and Wendy, Sharon and Ed, Norma and Larry and family's, Harley and I are so sorry to hear of Byron's untimely passing. We know you will all miss him greatly as will we. We always looked forward to seeing him with Esther at his favorite coffee spot in the Mall on our journeys back to Red Deer. His love for his kids and grand kids will live on forever in each one of them as will all the memories you have Esther. Esther and family - we were so sorry to hear of Byron's passing and wanted to send our sincere condolences on to you all. It is so great that we all were together at Marg and Ted's 50th just a few days before, so everyone had a visit. Look after each other - hopefully soon the happy memories will help ease the pain you will be feeling now. ~ Carin and Wayne Burnside
