April 1, 1931 – December 31, 2015

Helen (Nitsa) Vlahos, the pride of her family, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the age of 84 years.

Helen is lovingly remembered by her children, Kathy Vlahos-Makridis, Stam James Vlahos, Yolanda Tkachyk; 3 grandchildren, Denise (Daniel) Collins, Ashley Tkachyk, Constantine Vlahos; her 2 precious great grandchildren, Jake and Ayla Collins; sons-in-law, Costas Makridis and Doug Tkachyk; as well as many nieces and nephews in Canada, Greece and around the world. Nitsa was predeceased by her loving husband, Gus Vlahos in January 2013.

A Prayer Service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 1 Tamarac Crescent SW, Calgary, AB on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Demetrios on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 11:00 am.
