Roger John Treau

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Roger John Treau after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary at the age of 53. He is survived by his loving wife, Grace; daughter, Justina; mother, Elizabeth; brother, David and extended Branco and Berry families. Roger is predeceased by his father. Roger retired from Air Canada where he worked in both Edmonton and Calgary and made many lifelong friends. Cremation has taken place. Two Celebrations of Roger’s Life will be held:

November 30, 2012 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 1305 Main Street, Airdrie, AB at 1:00 pm.

December 8, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5113, 49 Ave., Wetaskiwin, AB at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200, 325 Manning Rd. NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 2P5 or at www.cancer.ca

My deepest condolences go out to Roger's wife, daughter, and extended families. I went to St. Mary's high school with Roger and appreciated what a nice guy he was. I am sure he will be missed by many. Cherish the fond memories....he is not far away.

To Roger's Family Very sorry to hear about Roger's passing. My heart goes out to you all as I have not met any of his family. I worked with Roger at Air Canada Cargo in Calgary for several years. We had many great discussions and always enjoyed talking baseball. Roger had wonderful integrity and wisdom. We followed our teams and enjoyed our interaction in the ERL baseball league.
