GROVES, Frank Bernard
May 19, 1945 – January 19, 2017

Frank Groves passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Foothills Hospital. He is lovingly remembered by his partner, Diane and their canine family; daughter by choice, Helen; sister, Doll; brothers, Tom and Byron; and many nieces, nephews, large extended family and friends. Frank is predeceased by brothers, John, Lee and Bill.

A Celebration of Frank’s Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank’s memory to the Calgary Humane Society, 4455 – 110 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB, T2C 2T7 (Char. Reg.#11882-3632-RR0001).

Although we have not kept in touch as closely as we used to, I have very good and often humorous memories of Frank and Plum going back thirty years. They will be cherished. Dear Diana, I was so sorry to hear of Frank's passing from Ella and Tom. I mainly remember Frank when he was a teenager and young adult. It brings a smile to my face because he was always teasing and joking. He was a good human being. May you be surrounded by love and be comforted as you adjust to his loss. I well recall so well those years when cousin Franklin (as then known) stayed with us for a few years at our Langdon farm. My mother Alice (nee Christensen) Warrack was helpful to sister Doris and fond of Franklin. Looking back, I treasure that Franklin had been a part of our family. I hope there will be an opportunity to say goodbye, on behalf of my parents and myself.
