Anna "Anne" Goertzen
Anne passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the age of 60 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jake; children, Cory (predeceased) Audrey and family, Gerry (Jackie) and family; her father, Peter Schafer of Taber, AB; and brothers, Peter (Joyce), Norbert (Penny) and Ralph. Anne was predeceased by her mother, Katerinia. A Celebration of Anne’s Life will be held at Rock Pointe Church, 255024 Lochend Road NW, Calgary, AB on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, 20 Hopewell Way NE, Calgary, AB, T3J 5H5.

Messages of Condolence

I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Anne was such a beautiful person. From my memory she was always so kind and fair , and always tried to see the best in everyone, and would always be there for everyone if she could. This past while must have been so difficult for you all, I hope you can take some comfort in knowing she is now at peace , and reunited with so many that loved her. So sorry for your loss. Anne will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was kind, caring and Compassionate. I think what I will remember most is her keen sense of humor, and positive attitude.
