Bill Bobyck

Bill Bobyck passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the age of 86 years after a courageous battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his wife Lorna; parents George and Mary; sisters Lena (Bill) Zazulak, Anne (Arvel) Chornaboy, Kay (Bill) Lipowy, Mary (Manere) Asseff, and Josephine (Don) Crook; brother-in-law Michael Heintz. Bill is survived by his son Darren Bobyck; grandchildren Madison and Tanner; daughter Rhonda Bobyck; brother Mike ( Marlene) Bobyck; sister Vicky Heintz; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Very special thanks to the wonderful team of nurses and doctors of 3A – Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital. Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a short program at 1:30 p.m. at the Telephone Pioneers Activity Centre (TPAK), 2106 – 1st Ave., Regina, SK. Flowers most gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make donations in memory of Bill to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan S4T 7T1 or Regina Palliative Care Inc., 1802 McAra St., Regina, SK S4N 6C4

Bobber & Rhonda, Sorry to hear about your dad's passing. I can see his smile & hear his laugh when I think of him. I will always remember our famous wrestling match in your back yard against your Dad & Uncle Mike. I'm sorry I can't make the service as I'm in Whistler, BC for my twins graduation. Love you both.
