Karen Arnestad
KAREN A. ARNESTAD, 67, passed away peacefully on  Friday, August 31, 2018 surrounded by her family at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta. Karen was born in Oyen, Alberta,  she was the daughter of the late Shirley and Nels Olson. Karen is lovingly remembered by her family, husband, Don Stewart; her children, Barry (Casey) Arnestad, Laurie (Jason) Suski and Tammy (Daniel) Thomsen; 7 grandchildren, Tanner, Blade and Ryder Arnestad, Kendra and Kaden Suski, Jace and Lily Thomsen. She is also survived by her 3 sisters, Margaret (Mike) Becker, Orla Olson and Muriel (Carl) Manser. Karen worked as a Nurse’s Aide with most of her career in Calgary, Alberta.  She enjoyed camping and spending time with her close friends and family.  She will be remembered for her kind nature and her love to help others. A Come & Go Celebration of Karen’s Life will be held at the Claresholm Legion, 414 - 53 Ave E. Claresholm on Friday, October 5th from 1-4pm.

I am so glad we were able to camp with Karen and Donny. My fondest memory will be of her gallantry rolling into our boat so she could spend the day at the beach with her grandkids I know she enjoyed the afternoon sitting in the lake on her lawn chair ~ Ruth kergan
