Maurice (Moe) Walter Derkoch
27 August 1939 – 25 May, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Moe Derkoch of Langley, BC on May 25, 2023. He was born in Breton Alberta on August 27, 1939.
Survived by his loving wife of 57 years Marlene (nee Stepaniuk), his son Kevin and spouse Mellicent, son Trent and spouse Noreen, his daughter Andrea and spouse Trevor, his much-loved grandchildren Ethan, Katelyn, Sahara and Noah and his extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Moe was a business owner and long-time resident of Langley who loved to travel, play golf, watch hockey, fish, garden, spend lots of time with his grandchildren and going to the casino. Moe also gave his time over the years to several charitable causes.
Our father’s wish is for a simple celebration of life which will be held on June 12, 2023.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to help Ukrainian refugees with either the United Nations High Commission for Refugees or the Humanitarian Coalition.

I am very saddened to hear about Moe, passing away. He had a great sense of humor and had raised a wonderful family. He was a success in every way. An all around good guy. My condolences go out to you Marlene and the entire family.
