The family of Sandra Marie Achen is saddened to announce her passing on Tuesday, August 16 2022 at the age of 75.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Susan (Grant) Vermeulen, Sheila Achen (Jayson Gorda), Graham (Caroline) Achen, and Tina (Geoff) Jackson; grandchildren, Paige (Brandon) Bergshoeff, Caleb Jackson, Jill (Brett) Foley, Cohen (Dana) Achen, Anastasia and Mattius Gorda; great-grandchildren, Claire Bergshoeff, Charlie Foley and Scarlett Bergshoeff; sisters, Judy Holmes and Penny (Lynn) Roberts; brothers, John Garland and Dennis (Cathy) Sorenson; sisters-in-law, Audrey Wercholuk, Ruby James, Louise (Mel) Schill and Karen Kuhn; brother-in-law, Jim (Joy) Achen and Lorne (Suzanne) Roberts; as well as nieces and nephews. Sandra was predeceased by her husband, Roger Achen; parents, Russ and Lillian Garland; and sisters, Laura Garland and Connie Roberts; as well as Jacob and Mary Achen.
Sandra will be remembered by her friends at Rockyview Lodge.
A Private Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Sandra’s memory may be made to the Rockyview Lodge, 1220 Hammond Avenue, Crossfield, AB, T0M 0S0.
