William James “Jim” Reid longtime resident of Rocky View County passed away at the Didsbury Hospital on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the age of 83 years.

Jim is lovingly remembered by his son, Bill (Brandii); grandsons, Jordan and Justin and their mom, Brenna; 2 great grandchildren, Colin and Owen; Jim’s mother, Margie; sister, Peggy (Ken) Sauter; brother, Ken (Terry) Reid; as well as friend, Deanna; sisters-in-law, Ann Schofield, Adair Forsythe, Barbara Costigan and Cathy McKay. Jim was predeceased by his wife, Helen; father, Frank; and sister, Rae.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Crossfield Community Hall on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the Airdrie Lions Club, 339 Sagewood Place SW, Airdrie, AB, T4B 3M8 or the Chairty of donors choice.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to all the families on the passing of Jim. Mel grew up with Jim and we were friends for a very long time. He will be missed by a large number of people and family members.
