April 24, 1953 – July 14, 2021
It is with sadness our family announces the passing of Wade MacKenzie. Wade passed away at home on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the age of 68 years.
Wade is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Susan MacKenzie of Didsbury; his son, Allen (Kristina) MacKenzie of Red Deer; granddaughters, Elizabella and Emma MacKenzie also of Red Deer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Wade was predeceased by his father, Duncan MacKenzie in 1956; brother, Bruce MacKenzie in 1975; step-father, Clifford Baptist in 1989; his mom, Elain Baptist in 2001; and most recently his wife, Sherry in 2016.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Didsbury Elks Hall in Didsbury, Alberta on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 2:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, a donation made in Wade’s memory may be made to the Didsbury Elks or Royal Purple of the Olds Legion.
