Lillian passed away peacefully on Monday, July 11, 2016 just shy of turning 106 at Chinook Care Centre, where she was affectionately known as “Lily”. She was such a beautiful and elegant lady, admired by all who knew her. Heaven has become a more beautiful place with her presence.

Lillian is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Gail; daughter-in-law, Elaine; grandchildren, Darren (Katja), Daniel (Kristi), Sandra (James) and Karen; great grandchildren, Christopher, Veronica and Melissa; sisters, Alma, Morna, Betty, Lynette, Dorothy and Darlene; and many nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Murl; son, Ron; and sisters, Ellen, Estelle and Nina.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home, 1605 – 100 Street SE, Calgary, AB on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian’s memory may be made to the Calgary Humane Society, 4455 – 110 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB, T2C 2T7. Cremation has been entrusted to Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services, 112 East Lake Way NE, Airdrie, AB.
