Eigil passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family. Although we are saddened by the loss, we are thankful that he is no longer in pain.
Eigil was born in Denmark on December 1, 1943 and immigrated to Canada with his wife and children in 1967. He was an adventurer, Traveling the world with his wife enjoying all the new experiences. He always had a story to tell. He also loved spending time with his family, inspiring those around him.
He is survived by his wife Maja of 60 years and his 5 children, May-Britt (Lau), Annette (Glenn), Peter (Alison), Poul (Paul) (Marika) and Kim (Lora), 14 grandchildren (1 pre deceased) and 8 (and 1 on the way) great grandchildren.
Celebration of life will be held on May 20, 2023 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at Willoughby Hall, 20809 - 83 Ave, Langley, BC
