It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gillian Winslow at the age of 62. She passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 after losing her battle with cancer. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband Daun of 41 years, her family in Scotland, her extended family in Canada and her many friends around the world. Gillian was predeceased by her parents, Frank & Williamina Mitchell.
Gillian was born in Ballater Scotland, and moved to Canada with Daun in 1979. Throughout the years they lived in the USA, Spain, Thailand, Malaysia and visited many other countries around the world.
Gillian always put others before herself and touched the hearts of many, always with a smile.
There will be no service at this time, close family and friends will be notified of a service at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to Cancer Research and early detection of breast cancer.
