Gloria Margrat Martin

Gloria Margrat Martin (Kovatch) passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the Agapè Hospice in Calgary, Alberta. She was born January 28, 1943 in Meyronne, Saskatchewan. She graduated high school in Regina, Saskatchewan then went to work for the Saskatchewan government. Gloria meet Ernest Martin and they were married on April 11, 1964. They then moved to Calgary, Alberta and shortly after moved to Airdrie, Alberta where they still live to this day. Gloria worked for the City of Calgary till 1971 when they had there son Craig and daughter Jocelyn in 1973. She decided to be a stay at home mom and raise the kids. Gloria enjoyed gardening, sewing and was very involved with the church.
Gloria leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Ernest Martin; son, Craig; daughter, Jocelyn; son-in-law, Cameron Schmunk; and two amazing grandchildren, Brandyn and Brianna; her brother, Ken Kovatch and wife Louise; as well as many nieces and nephews. Gloria entered Agapè hospice after many years of health issues. No Memorial Service will be held at this time.
