Cheryl Marlene Beers

November 7th, 2020

After a courageous 8 year battle with lung cancer, then Brain Cancer, Our Mom Cheryl Beers, took her last breath on Saturday morning and peacefully went to be with God!

We are eternally grateful for the extra years we were granted. Every moment, every car ride, every phone call, every treatment, was a blessing.

She was not only the most dedicated, giving & gracious Wife, Mother & Grandmother, she was our very BEST friend. We shared everything with her. Every detail of our lives, careers, relationships. She never judged, always supported and would have done anything to protect her husband, daughters, grandchildren, family and friends.

Her smile lit up the room. Her laughter was infectious. She was a fierce warrior in this battle and in life. She was also a faithful follower, which is why we are comforted to know she is now in heaven, at the side of Jesus, in peace and finally free from pain.  There she is reunited with her parents, younger brother Bob, dear extended family and many of her very best friends.

On behalf of, and survived by, her husband Ron Beers, Daughters and Son-in-Laws, Rhonda & Richard, Lana & Pat, Angela & Don, Grandkids Brandon, Jessica, James & Joshua and Sister and brother-in-law Linda & Jeff we sincerely thank the staff at Foothills Hospital, the Tom Baker Cancer Centre and everyone that stood with us, prayed for us and supported us.

Mom... we will see you again. Fly free, rest easy, laugh loudly & love largely, as you always have. We Love you!

In lieu of flowers, Mom would want us to thank and support the Tom Baker Cancer Centre.

To do that, you can donate to https://www.albertacancer.ca/donate/
