Jerome August Zimmer

It is with sadness that the family of Jerome Zimmer announce his peaceful passing on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the age of 78. Jerome will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years Merledene; his son Dean (Katherine); his grandsons Liam (Lexi) and Gavin (Eden); and his sister Geri Huber.

Jerome was a steelworker, a sports enthusiast, and enjoyed cooking. He preferred the comfort of his home, was a man of simple pleasures, and proud of his family. As Jerome would say, “I lived my life my way.”

Honouring Jerome’s wishes, a private graveside service was held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery – Prairie Lane Columbarium.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Regina Pasqua Hospital Unit 4B for the exemplary care Jerome received during his stay.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Salvation Army or Regina Food Bank.
