Leita Lucille Ziegler

Leita Lucille Ziegler passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 30, 2011. Born to Clarence and Clara Cipperly on October 30, 1924.  She was the youngest of six children, Lloyd, Cecil, Dorothy, Edith and Mildred.  She married Herbert Ziegler on May 1, 1944. Herbert passed away in December 1990.  They had two children Marilyn and Roland.  Leita is also lovingly remembered by four grandchildren and their families. They spent most of their lives farming in the East Didsbury area; the last years were spent at the Sunrise Village in Olds.  Her interests were centered around bingo games and word books.  Many thanks to those who cared for her and assisted her in the last days.

A Private Family Service was held at the Olds Cemetery at the deceased’s request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Society, 63 Cornell Road NW, Calgary, Alberta T2L 0L4.
