ZAITZ, Mervin Ronald
November 26, 1943 – April 3, 2022
After a 6 month struggle from suffering a stroke, Merv went to heaven to be with his angel, Kara.
He will be lovingly remembered by his family, friends, nieces, and nephews. We would always say “we love you Uncle Merv”.
At Merv’s request there will be no Celebration of Life, so on Saturday, April 8 at 7:00 PM raise a glass & wish him well.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Merv’s name can be made to Red Deer Hospice, 99 Arnot Ave, Red Deer, AB, T4R 3S6.
Don’t forget to turn out the lights.

Mervin was my platoon signaller in Cyprus 1964-65. We spent a lot of time together patrolling on foot, by Jeep and once by mule. He was a great soldier and very well respected by the entire platoon. My deepest condolences to his family. Your patrolling days are over, rest in piece my friend. ~ Chris Wellwood
